Fences and walls - residential districts
No person, persons, firm, firms or corporation shall hereafter, in any residential district in the Township of Morris, erect any fence or wall higher than six feet from the ground level, and all such fences or walls shall be located within the boundary lines of the premises intended to be fenced or walled, and no closed-type fence or wall shall be erected or built within the front yard setback, as required by Chapter 95, Zoning. The provisions of Chapter 95, Zoning, of the Code of the Township of Morris concerning visibility at intersections shall be complied with in regard to fences and walls. A "closed fence or wall" shall mean any fence or wall with open space between members of less than 45% of the width of the members.
Existing fences and walls.
Any fence or wall existing at the time of the passage of this chapter which may be in violation of this chapter in respect only to the height and type of the fence or wall may be permitted to be continued.
